Slinkachu
The 'Little People Project' started in 2006. It involves the remodeling and painting of miniature model train set characters, which I then place, photograph and leave on the street. It is both a street art installation project and a photography project. The street-based side of my work plays with the notion of surprise and I aim to encourage city-dwellers to be more aware of their surroundings. The scenes I set up, more evident through the photography and the titles I give these scenes, aim to reflect the loneliness and melancholy of living in a big city, almost being lost and overwhelmed. But underneath this, there is always some humour. I want people to be able to empathize with the tiny people in my works.
My Favorite Slinkachu:
I really like slinkachu's work because he remakes past experiences and creates his own using the little people. Also he has lots of creativity for example using the dead bee in the first picture.
Akiko Ida and Pierre Javelle
Akiko Ida and Pierre Javelle combine photography, magical landscapes, culinary backdrops, and portraiture to create settings inhabited by diminutive characters, referred to as minimiam. Each diptych reveals to the viewer a whimsical land that plays with our minds, as well as the subject.
The team met at Arts Decoratifs de Paris where they studied photography. Akiko, Japanese, has always been attracted to the world of gastronomy. As a child, she invented tiny characters that populated her journal. She is a renowned food photographer. Akiko has participated in more than 30 cookbooks and her work is published in international magazines. Pierre, French, grew up on comics. He is published in major gourmet magazines and his still-like photographs appear in corporate commercials.
This fine art collaboration, begun in 2002, is ongoing. There are over 30 works in the series at present.

I like Akiko Ida and Pierre Javelle work because they use food in there pictures to recreate film scenes, jobs and stuff we do in society like the third picture looking at random sculptures.

I really like this picture because the lighting in this picture shows emotion, the
picture shows meaning, the man in the back is blurred because in society people
don't pay attention to people that have fallen down. Not just people falling down to the ground but in life, like a homeless man.

First Shoot Dislikes
I don't like this picture because the picture is too blurry, and the camera is too shaky.
Also I think the picture is too plain, it doesn't show the person who is looking at the picture anything, there is no story.

I like this picture because it is mostly focused on the figure, also I like how the figure is to the same scale the building in the back.
Second Shoot Dislikes
I don't like this picture because the picture is over exposed, also you can clearly see the
blu tack under the figure.

I like this picture because I really like athletics and when I see this picture I imagine myself ready to have a race. I really like this image because its a medium depth of field, the picture has a perfect exposure, and I placed the camera vertically to make the floor look like a track.
Third Shoot Dislikes
I dislike this picture because it is really blurry and shaky.

Fifth Shoot

I like this picture because the angle is good and it means that i can get a good shot. Its a short depth of field.
I like this photo because the angle is on a birds eye view and the photo has a medium depth of field.
Fifth Shoot Dislikes
I dislike this image because the image is too shaky also the image has the wrong focus point the depth of field is set on the wrong one.

I like this image because in my opinion this image shows the group of people in focus and the object and the surroundings out of focus. Also this picture shows a story, you have a group of people planning something but we don't know what I have used a small depth of field to create this image.
Seventh Shoot Dislikes
I don't like this picture because the picture is too dark (underexposed), also I don't like the way the camera is positioned.

This photo is underexposed and is too blurry.
This photo is blurry and the composition is wrong.

I really like these photo's because the exposure is just the right setting as it should be. It gives the feel that it is in the woods which reflects real life. In the first photo the depth of field and the focus point was just right, it is in a medium depth of field so we can see the person but the background is slightly blurred.
Shoot Dislikes
This photo has the wrong focus point which is focusing on the wrong thing. I want the photo the focus on the person not the wood texture, this is why this photo is my worst photo. The photo has a short depth of field and yet again it is not focused on the person.
